DS Daily: Most recommended?
Today, over on Wii Fanboy, we thought we'd discuss the worst games of the year. Here? We want to hear about some of the best, but with a twist: we want to know what games you recommended most often. Did you tell all your friends that the paddle controller made Space Invaders Extreme the business? Did you sing the praises of N+, despite its free counterparts? What did you recommend? This blogger's most recommended, of course, was the extremely excellent Professor Layton. If I passed you on the street, I might have told you to play it.

Exit DS has been a constant topic.
Chrono Trigger for those who weren't old enough to play it back in the day.
WEWY for obvious reasons.

Dragon Quest IV.
Play it.
Right now.
I'm not kidding.

The World Ends With You, for sure. I eulogise about many other games - Apollo Justice, Ninja Gaiden, Sonic Chronicles, Pro Layton, the list goes on - but if I had to pick one, TWEWY would be it.
Some parts of that story are so hopeful, so refreshing, especially when compared to the dirge pumped out on the HD consoles. I wish more games were as well written as that one.

My head was fixed on 2008. I can't forget about Kirby Canvas Curse.

The World Ends With You.
If you want a new game to buy, buy this one.
Seriously, one of the best games I ever played.
And I played a lotta games.

Earlier in the year, I was recomending TWEWY like crazy, to the point where two teachers in my school got it. (which netted me the game for cheap, as one teacher just didn't have enough time for it, and sold it to me for $17)
I also started recommending N+, but no one would listen. bah. :P
HairyBalls @ Dec 19th 2008 9:40AM
Both of the Advance War games for the DS.

I still can't stop recommending Professor Layton. Simply an amazing game. Hopefully we'll hear word on the translation of the second and third soon.
darksage @ Dec 19th 2008 10:02AM
TWEWY and Disgaea

Dragon Quest IV in first.
I love Chrono Trigger, but it's a remake, and I consider it a game for SNES.
Spider Man Web of Shadows have an incredible control, some combos...
Maxim @ Dec 19th 2008 5:47PM
TWEWY of course.
Maybe Ninja Gaiden too.
Roman @ Dec 19th 2008 11:02AM
The World Ends With You and Professor Layton.
Maurice @ Dec 19th 2008 11:16AM
The Phoenix Wright series.
No game has ever kept me at a gaming device like the Phoenix games.

What he said.
Roto13 @ Dec 19th 2008 11:27AM
Final Fantasy Tactics A2.
Yup.

I usually don't recommend stuff, unless someone asks my opinion. But I do bring up a few games a lot when the topic of discussion shifts to videogames and the DS.
Phoenix Wright Trilogy (& Apollo Justice)
Professor Layton
TWEWY
Chrono Trigger
Luminous Arc
Pervavor @ Dec 19th 2008 1:32PM
Chrono Trigger
or
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
for sure!
Erica @ Dec 19th 2008 2:13PM
Disgaea DS. I don't have a DS yet (getting it for Christmas), but I loved it on the PS2.
Red Confession @ Dec 19th 2008 2:31PM
I've gotten at least 7 of my friends to pick up and fall in love with Phoenix Wright.
I've gotten 3 of my friends to pick up Professor Layton.
and I got 2 of my friends to pick up Hotel Dusk.
I also started recommending TWEWY after someone recommended it to me.
Jarlino @ Dec 19th 2008 2:37PM
I'm so sorry to go along with the crowd but yeah...
The world ends with you was so awesome until you beat the secret final boss and then it felt like...there was nothing left.
Yeah, Square Enix did a good thing there...

I always recommend Chibi Robo Park Patrol , its excellent and a real unknown gem . I also am loving Dragon Quest at the moment .
aznstranger15 @ Dec 19th 2008 7:27PM
I keep recomending ELITE BEAT AGENTS (FTW by the way) and Professor Layton. Love those two. I would recomend the Ace Attorney games, but there's 4 of them; that's a large amount of money going into the series if bought all at once.
chelbyluo @ Dec 20th 2008 1:08AM
My votes go for:
FFTA2
Professor Layton
