Rock Band 2 plus Ten in March 2009

On March 24 of next year, Pearl Jam will release a remastered version of their debut album, Ten, in five different editions: one LP version, three CD-based versions (the most expensive of which also includes the LPs) ... and as Rock Band downloads. At least we assume it's the remaster in Rock Band, and not the original, because that would be really weird timing.

Geoff Keighley made the announcement while presenting at the Spike Video Game Awards, so we don't have a lot of information other than that it's on the way to Rock Band. The Wii version of Rock Band 2 will presumably be out by March (we're trying to have faith that it'll be out this week), so, for once, we'll be able to care about this DLC announcement.

Despite the dangers of hearing your idiot friends failing to successfully imitate Eddie Vedder's vocals, we couldn't be more thrilled about this announcement. For some of us who were teenagers in the early '90s, and weren't too cool to buy an album that other people had heard of, Ten was pretty dang world-changing.
