If you're like us, you won't let a little thing like a language barrier stop you from
importing what is sure to be the fighting game of the year. So, instead of trying to navigate the abundance of Japanese text and all of the menus, or simply just trying different moves with each character in-game, you can simply print out these handy little cards with each character's moves listed on them, allowing you to safely try out each fighter and avoid the frustration of just winging it with each individual in the game. It's a pretty great resource with a lot of info condensed into one place. If you plan on importing
Tatsunoko vs Capcom, then you should definitely check this out.

I really hope it comes over. i really dont want to mod the wii :/
Thanatos @ Dec 11th 2008 1:33PM
What about Softmod?
Wing Zero @ Dec 11th 2008 1:44PM
dotn wanna do that too xD
ZaxCG2 @ Dec 11th 2008 1:52PM
Really? It's not a pain at all if you have Twilight Princess.
CMoorebutts @ Dec 11th 2008 1:32PM
You don't have to mod your Wii. The game runs on 3.2 firmware. The Freeloader will still work
Roto13 @ Dec 11th 2008 1:47PM
I want it but I can't justify import costs and stuff. Plus, I can never be 100% sure that it'll actually work on my Wii. :P It'd be just my luck to import it and have it crash every time I try to load it.
Leo McKelvin @ Dec 11th 2008 2:01PM
Fighting game of the year?
I have not play it but I doubt it will be better than Battle Fantasia, SSFIIHDR or Soul Caliber 4. Unless you only talk about Wii fight game of the year in which is still lose to Brawl.
themissing @ Dec 11th 2008 2:05PM
mmm. yeah. no.
brighenne @ Dec 11th 2008 2:09PM
You are incorrect.

Honestly, watch a few of the videos.

I've played SSFIITHD, and as fun as it is, this game has a bigger roster of characters (some of which from other Capcom games, plus all of the Tatsunoko folk) and is a vs title. It'll have more comprehensive super moves and a tag system.
I just calls it like I sees it. :)
Dorian @ Dec 11th 2008 3:02PM
Brawl isn't that good. Random tripping brakes the game.
igorponweed @ Dec 11th 2008 3:10PM
Looks like I'm the only one who agrees with you. Marvel Vs. Capcoj is $10 cheaper, and it has characters Americans would know. Why not just get that?
intro94 @ Dec 11th 2008 10:47PM
dont glorify Soul calibur 4 that much,i got it, and is not the best fighting game ever and It wouldnt be impossible for tatsunoko to be even better. Is not that hard to beat Soul calibur.
Tom @ Dec 11th 2008 2:11PM
I'm just wondering what you have to really do so that an import can play? I'm not a fan of modding at all though. Would there be a chance that Capcom would just release it here without changing anything except the region? I don't care about the text, I just think this game looks awesome.
esposch @ Dec 11th 2008 5:24PM
Hi Tom!
My advice: DON'T pay to get your Wii softmodded. The people who do this charge for a service that is free.
Instead, back up your Twilight princess save to your computer (not SD card), then go to wiibrew.org and install the Twilight Hack, and use the Twilight Hack to install the Homebrew Channel.
Then download GeckoOS and extract it. Note: replace boot.elf from the "HBC" folder with main.dol from the "DOL" folder, then rename main.dol to boot.dol, otherwise the new versions of the Homebrew Channel won't read it.
Once you've done all of that, just copy the boot.dol, meta.xml and icon.png from GeckoOS to a folder on your SD card called /apps/GeckoOS. Boot up the Homebrew channel and Voila, there is geckoOS.
All of this should take maybe 15 minutes to half an hour, depending on how noob you are.
Peter @ Dec 11th 2008 2:56PM
Capcom not only acknowledges but also makes an effort to /help/ importers?
Wow, Capcom just keeps getting cooler and cooler. Developing Zack & Wiki, publishing Okami, co-developing and publishing Mega Man 9, and now this.
Go Capcom!
Butters @ Dec 11th 2008 6:11PM
How much does it cost to soft mod? I don't have an SD card, and I don't have Twilight Princess.
Thanatos @ Dec 11th 2008 8:18PM
It costs NOTHING, The files are available online for free and the guides and tutorials are free as well. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Main_Page Should have almost everything you would need to softmod your Wii.
Thanatos @ Dec 11th 2008 8:19PM
Sadly Twilight Princess is need, maybe you could borrow it from someone or rent it.
RatMasterD21 @ Dec 11th 2008 10:33PM
this is great news i jost got my copy today ^.^
RatMasterD21 @ Dec 11th 2008 10:37PM
for the record tatsunoko vs capcom isnt better then brawl..i have them both and brawl beats it hands down (its still awesome though )
GregZ @ Dec 13th 2008 3:49PM
Just IMO...
There is no way Brawl is better than this. Melee possibly. But not brawl.
Ujn Hunter @ Dec 12th 2008 9:52AM
I haven't received my TvsC yet... but I am highly anticipating its arrival!!! ;) $65.30 shipped after coupon at Play-Asia... not that much more than buying a game from a store. Well worth it... this game is going to rock so hard! Believe it!
