Capcom denies Monster Hunter 3 non-exclusivity rumors
Monster Hunter 3, Capcom's Japan-ruling RPG, has had a rocky history since it was first announced. Initially, it was slated for the PS3, but late last year, the game defected to the Wii -- and was reportedly going to be exclusive to Nintendo's console. In the last couple of days, however, rumors have been swirling that Monster Hunter 3 (tri-) may head beyond the Wii and into the realm of the PSP, which hosted the last title in the franchise.
Just a few hours ago, however, Capcom updated the game's official site, denying the rumors, though all they're saying is that they haven't said anything. That doesn't mean they can't say anything in the future!

Yep, 'cause Capcom's never claimed exclusivity for a game and then moved it to another platform.
Oh, wait.

I really don't care about the platform that it comes out on, all I really want to know is that if it's coming to North America and Europe this time unlike Monster Hunter 2. At least if they make a version for the PSP, I can buy an import copy online and play it on my US PSP slim since there is no regional lockout on the PSP(or the DS) though it would be nice to play it in english.

This is good to hear. Now hopefully they stick to it unlike RE4.
Now, next thing we need is an overseas release date. We have '09 for Japan hopefully we can get ours something like '09 holidays.

Well, given the history on multiplatform of Capcom, i wouldn't be surprised if by march they announced a port version for another console. Hell, even for iphone.
I mean, just look at Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Residen Evil 4. Those claimed to be exclusives and ended to be multiplatform games
