I'm very very interested to see how Mushroom Men turns out. I'm also curious about both of the Wiiware titles. Guess I'll need to pickup some more Wiipoints in the near future.

I have to admit to some interest in My Fitness Coach, but am also intrigued by Pit Crew Panic. It would also be nice to have a game that has decent enough controls for younger kids. My daughter constantly wants to play, but either can't read all of the words or can't work the controls well enough to avoid major frustration. :P

I can't help but notice that Mushroom Men has been very well covered and people seem to be excited about it. I'm not sure why it seems so appealing to people. I know we are short on good titles, but what makes this one seem so exciting? I'm interested in hearing what people are looking forward to in this game.

The art style has some strange appeal for me. I think it reminds me of the poster art for old school Sci-Fi and Horror movies and books. Pulpy is the word for it, I guess. As far as the storyline, I see potential for fun, platforming a world where the character is mushroom sized. Kind of the same fun to be had when you're rolling around the size of a marble in Katamari. Plus, using the "force" always the potential for fun. It's an unusual sounding game, much like my favorites usually are (i.e. Psychonauts, Shadow of the Collosus, Second Sight, Grim Fandango).

why would they release metal slug 2 for VC if its already on a Wii compilation disc?
Sisyphus @ Dec 1st 2008 3:57PM
Because they're smart. S-M-R-T. Or because maybe someone only wants to buy the first two, instead of shelling out that extra couple of dollars for the compilation. Or because antifreeze makes a mean chaser.

I wondered if a game called SPRay could possibly be as bad as the name implies. After a quick Google search I concluded that yes, yes it could.
