All we've heard about the release of
Fatal Frame IV in the US is that Nintendo apparently
isn't publishing it. According to retailer
Play.com and
Official Nintendo Magazine (via reports on NeoGAF and also this sliver of a scan found on
GoNintendo), the Tecmo/Grasshopper Manufacture survival horror title could be headed to Europe on February 6, under the name ...
Fatal Frame IV, rather than the series' customary European
Project Zero title.
Nintendo of Europe's apparent decision to publish this makes Reggie's snub seem
just a bit more painful, though we believe that it would be good business for the
newly-combined Tecmo/Koei to publish it in North America themselves.

But it's weird though, if they wouldn't release a game that already is localized as far as language goes...or would they have to change "colour" to "color" for you guys?

Seriously, I've been complaining about not seeing this game come to NOA since rls and the ever downfall of NOA. Go to hell NOA, I can't stand this and I'm foaming at my mouth in anticipation for my PS3 which my gf is getting me for X-Mas. The last great release I can recall for my Wii was Okami, after that we've been getting burnt and I'm sick of it. I stick up for Nintendo a lot but this is too much.
