Sonic and the Black Knight loses a little color
Nintendo's logo isn't the only thing that seems to be missing a little color lately; the latest batch of screenshots from Sonic and the Black Knight are noticeably washed out in comparison to the last set we peeped. Those last screens were lush, bold, and beautiful, and while these look good, they just don't look as bright. There's something gritty in this new batch, though, something that's a little dark and a little dirty and very appealing. Go forth, young knight, and see for yourself.

Seems to me like they've applied a new layer of textures, aside from making some darker-themed levels
I thought the post meant that they had changed the name to "Sonic & the Knight" for some reason or other

You fool, you know that black is not a color! It is simply the absence of light!

I'm just waiting for Knuckles, Amy, and Cream - not sure if the latter two are going to make it though.
Sonic and the Black Night, amirite?

Knuckles and Shadow have already been confirmed as optionally playable. Knuckles dual wields. Storywise? I wouldn't expect any more than in Secret Rings.

No way I'm getting this game. Sonic Unleashed was no good. Parts of it were fun but most of it was shitty.
It's like a little gold nugget surrounded by a huge stretchy armed turd.

Dear Sega:
Please stop doing this. Stop making upcoming Sonic games look awesome only to have them suck at the last minute. It happened with Sonic '06, it happened with Unleashed, and it's going to...it's going to...um...
Um...
Crap, the pretty graphics just broke my cynicism.

Looks wonderful, but will it blend-- err, surpass expectations and play swimmingly?

It DOES seem a little more gritty then previous screens, but that's no big deal (probably just a darker level)
I'm worried that the game will not be fun
Adventure was the last 3D GREAT Sonic game.
Adventure2 was a letdown.
Heroes was okay.
Shadow the Hedgehog was abysmal.
2006 was horribly dull.
Secret Rings was at least FUN at some parts.
And Unleashed was just 1/3 good.
Here's hoping BlackKnight frees Sonic from a mass of bad games.
