Little Magician's Magic Adventure actually contains adventures
Konami has finally revealed a bit about the gameplay involved in Little Magician's Magic Adventure, some of which actually serves to distinguish it a little from Animal Crossing: Wild World. Konami's magic-school communication game has goals! And stuff to do! In a combination of, well, Animal Crossing and an RPG, the game involves learning new magic spells from the other characters in the school. These spells will be put to use in a series of 52 (magical) adventures. Of course, there's also avatar customization and decorating and furniture collecting and that kind of stuff.
Little Magician also features Wi-Fi cooperative play, though the press release doesn't specify whether that means local wireless or actual internet. We suspect it may be online for real, because the game features an auto-translating "magical alphabet" for chat.
Magic Adventure is scheduled for release on March 17. Our gallery is loaded with screens and art! Our interest is piqued by the promise of magic linguistics -- not to mention magic toilet performances.

First there was Rune Factory, which took a brilliant game and made it an RPG.
Now this, which takes a brilliant game and makes it an RPG.
Does the game industry watch my dreams?

Hm. Very funny title XD.
I swear, if this is a game that's going to be continuously reported here, it better be good.
Unlike Chrono Trigger that I was hyped about. Months of reporting... and it's pants.

I swear... I'm looking forward to this game tremendously!

I'm with you aj, I was dreaming about an animal crossing with less tom nook and the ridiculous mortgage; adding RPG elements was just a really nice bonus. So I'm really excited about this game =)

I had the opportunity to briefly play the japanese version of this game. It really feels a LOT like animal crossing wild world, but the sheer depth of this game, better framerate and more and better long time motivation will make this the better animal crossing.
