Avalon Code all dressed up for your viewing pleasure

Matrix Software's intriguing Avalon Code may be in limbo at the moment -- already out in Japan, and not scheduled for release in English until next year -- but that doesn't mean we're not keeping an eye on the ARPG. You may not be wielding your own special book for a while yet, but you can certainly watch someone else do it. In Japanese. And admire their elaborate costumes while you're at it.

This game is freaking awesome, same graphic as ffcrystal chronicles, started playing but I don't know kanji so I stopped, nice music,

Nintendo Power did a nice preview of the game a couple issues ago.

Apparently you can use the book to re-make the world. And I, for one, cannot wait to grow evil flowers on malevolent sand.

I read that article, and I don't think it's so much remake as alter. You can alter the world by changing the basic essence of something, and yes a very interesting idea. This is definitely on my must buy list =)

"Alter" is a better word. It's still a remarkable idea, being able to take bits of one thing and put it in another thing.....it's actually a bit like alchemy or item creation in every other game ever, but the added twist of being able to decide what you make is what gets me excited.
