Final Fantasy Crafting Chronicles: Echoes of Time
Thanks to the return of the item crafting system from previous Crystal Chronicles, you'll have plenty of cool junk to show off to your friends in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. You'll be able to buy power-boosting jewels from shops and add them to slots in your weapons, permanently changing the weapon into a more powerful one. You can also have your own custom armor and other items made out of materials found while adventuring.
Since the game seems to change your character model to reflect your equipment, that means that you can customize your appearance, and look as good as it is possible to look in a DS game played on your TV.

1) *gets Diablo II vibe*
2) It occurs to me that this is the closest to a "DS Player" so far.

That is a shot of the DS version, right? Certainly it will at least be a neater resolution on Wii

I loved the item crafting in FFCC. I however hated that even the lower tiered basic weapons and armor needed blueprint scrolls, per item. Holding onto valuable scrolls while searching for the materials necessary got really frustrating to manage, then again I was going for every single item in the game requiring 25% stakes when achieving maximum point scoring ranks.

the more news i hear about this game the it makes me want it! personally i don't care to much that the graphics will be the same as the NDS version but i do hope the resolution is neater. either way i'll be picking this up for sure! FFCC FTW
