Why does Nintendo (or whoever) release random games that aren't on the SNES? Not that I have anything against Genesis/Megadrive, but as far as sound goes, the SNES port is superior. Not only that, but why can't they release games like Final Fantasy 6 or Earthbound? Why does the ESRB rate several million VC games if Nintendo/Capcom/etc. never release them?

In the case of Earthworm Jim, the Mega Drive/Genesis version was superior due to content rather than sound. EWJ2 however is best played on SNES. Dunno about Boogerman.
As for FF6, Square-Enix are extremely fond of their money and much prefer remaking games 30 times rather than releasing them on VC.
But Earthbound is anyone's guess. Nintendo really need to get that one out.

True. The Genesis Version of EWJ did have an extra level (intestinal distress, which sounds really freaky on the Sega CD version BTW). But yeah, Nintendo really needs to get off their freakin' butts and release it already! I'm glad Square Enix released Secret of Mana on the VC, though.

My, another week with no interesting releases. Oh well, I'm still behind as it is.

Boingz - yet another Wiiware game I won't be purchasing because there's no demo for me to try it out first. Looks interesting, though.

No fucking way BOOGERMAN. Earthworm Jim, Vectorman, now this! That was my favorite Sega Genesis game when i was a kid. I even got one of my sisters old TMNT busses paint boogers on it and called it the booger mobile. I gotta buy this. . .
