Super Famicom Classic Controller available at Play Asia [update]
Update: Wow, that was fast. The controller is sold out. Uh, people must have way more money than we do. Send us one, plz?
If you're looking for more of an authentic experience when playing those Virtual Console games, then know that Play Asia is now allowing folks to order the Super Famicom Classic Controller. Of course, if you want that authentic experience, you're going to have to pay for it. The controller is going for a whopping $70 at the site. Frankly, we'd advise tracking down a SNES controller and doing one of those wireless hacks to the thing. It's got to cost a lot less than seventy freakin' dollars.
[Thanks, MoFro!]

And yet, sold out before any comments.

This thing does look nice, but I think the regular Classic Controller does a pretty good job of recreating the feel of the SNES controller.

I'm happy with my kickass retroport.

I got one of these a while back, and while it's nice for the nostalgia factor, I'd say that the common white Classic Controller actually performs better.

I have a retroport Gamecube adapter for a NES and SNES controller and i also bought one of these off ebay awhile ago for $50 and all in all i think they are all great additions to my collection, i love playing Super Mario World with an actual SNES controller.

SFC controllers don't work with American Wiis. 8[
It would be hilarious if this was true.
Oh well, I think my parents got me a Classic Controller for Christmas...I could pry the information from my mother, but I'd rather it be a surprise.

It does work.

You didn't get the joke. 8[
SFC controllers only work on SFCs, SNES controllers only work on SNES.
Now it's not funny anymore...

I bought 2 retroports for snes.
I own 2 original SFC controllers which work 100% fine.
To play NES game on Wii, I used an old SNES controller that I modified (some basic cut/soldering) and it actually works flawlessly :)
You can play NES games on the Wii with SNES controller + retroport BUT the binding of the buttons is way too backward!
5 min of soldering can make you save easily 25 bucks (no need for nes retroport if you already own the snes version unless you REALLY want the nes controller)
