Smile! You're on EA Sports All-Play

If you've got multiple EA Sports All-Play games, you may have noticed a commonality among the boxarts beyond the normally consistent design scheme: the cover athletes are all grinning. Well, except for this guy. It's not just because they've been paid several thousand dollars to have their photograph taken -- the smiles were a corporate mandate, from the mind of Peter Moore!Moore believed that a smiling athlete on the cover "embodies the experience" of All-Play. He explained to MTV Multiplayer's Tracey John: "If you played Madden on the Wii and you're playing with guys with the heads the size of five watermelons, it's hard not to smile. We wanted to be able to deliver that experience on the packaging."
Does that mean that playing an EA Sports game on another console is a grueling trial?

I have Tiger 09 and Madden 09, and they're both a big hit with me. Much more fun then it would've been on a last-gen controller.

I have Madden 07 and I love it (especially the controls). As is the case with many other games, I can't imagine going back and playing with a traditional controller.

That other guy seems smiley to me. Not exuberant, no, but either a very shallow (as in curvature grade, or whatever the jargon) one cut off by his helmet, or something along the lines of :3

No. It just means EA, and many other third parties, continue to just not get it when it comes to Wii. Sure they have little moments of success, but on the whole (not to be confused with "hole") everyone seems to STILL be doing too much when it comes to Wii. Stop shoving crap down our Nintendo loving throats! (no homo)
All the great games that are now starting to trickle out will also go largly unnoticed due to this continued and increasing trend of "Oh we clearly know how to approach the Wii" type of mentality from publishers and dumb ass developers alike.

Come on ea I have NBA Live 09 all play and the graphics aren't that good. The Wii is a new game system next year could you make it better like the xbox 360 version just change the graphics. Thank You
