Man conducts symphony with Balance Board and Wiimote
Paul Henry Smith is one smart dude. He has created the Fauxharmonic Orchestra, a simulation of a real orchestra, brought to you by the Wiimote, Balance Board, and his brain. We're not classical buffs by any means, but what we're hearing (and seeing) is pretty impressive. We have on criticism, though. It looks like Paul is wearing his shoes in the video. Dude, you're going to scuff your very expensive peripheral!
Otherwise, kudos, Paul, on a job well done.

for those of you that have never conducted an ensemble, when conducting a good enough piece you get a huge sensation of accompishment and power when people follow your cues correctly. Seeing how there wouldn't be a way for the machine to mess up, this seems like it could be alot of fun, since you wouldn't need to round up at least 30 people, and you could do it from the comfort of you own home. Bravo paul; bravo. This is what i hoped wii music would be the very first time i saw a clip for it.

This is what Wii Music's composer mode should've been.

Thank you very much for your positive comments on my work. I can confirm, that, yes it is a lot of fun.
And as for scuffing up the peripheral ... well, I prefer it to have a worn-out look. The more scratches and stains, the better!
Happy musicking!
