Mama responds to PETA
"I would never put rat in my Ratatouille," said Mama, wrist-deep in her latest recipe. "Like any accomplished cook, I create my recipes to appeal to a broad range of tastes and preferences. My only goal is to ensure you leave the table well fed." We imagine PETA's next step is a Flash game where Mama viciously murders piles and piles of Octopi for their ink so she can write out a press release.

Wonder how vegetarian/vegan completionists feel...

*sigh* Another comment delayed by e-mail confirmation. Why does "Remember me" do NOTHING?

Try clicking on the "returning" tab. That's what works for me ;)
As far as what vegetarians/vegans feel, one of each happened to post in the comments of the source article, so go check it out for yourself if you're interested. No mention on if they ere completionists or not, but they are...the 'V' words...

Yo' mama's so fat, she kills her meat using Newton's law of universal gravitation.

Mama: 1, PETA: 0

I disagree, I bet PETA's next response will be a demand for the game they requested. Probably something involving boycotts xP.

Wow, you guys really hate on the vegetarians huh?
gordo @ Nov 20th 2008 2:27AM
Frankly it makes you sound ignorant and detached.

This has nothing to do with vegetarians. I have several friends who are vegetarians. I have a dislike for an organization that likes and promotes throwing buckets of blood and animal parts on people who are leaving KFC or wearing a fur coat. I also stood up and applauded them when they bought their way onto the board of directors at Churchill Downs (horse track in KY) after what happened with the horse in the KY Derby. If they handle their activism with class, as they did with the Derby, I have no issue. If they throw a bucket of blood on me, my wife or son, then they had better be ready for any repercussions that act incurs, be it physical or legal.

It's spelled 'octopuses'
Chris Greenhough @ Nov 20th 2008 7:31AM
Either spelling is acceptable.

i completely agree with you most of the time PETA goes way to far. i know that if handled correctly they are a very reasonable organization. But most PETA people are morons who don't realize that we as humans have the right to eat what we like.
oh and one last thing MAMA ROCKS!
