Crystal Bearers finally gone forever? [update]
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is more than just a long title -- it's also a questionable game with a sketchy history. It's a history that may finally have come to a close, however: after back-and-forth rumors of the game's continuation and demise, apparently the latest issue of EGM points toward the game's cancellation. While the EGM rumor may be off track, we're certainly not surprised if it does turn out to be the truth. We've been considering it gone for some time, and only now, as we are reminded of what could have been, are we saddened again. Lament with us in the comments, if you wish.

"UPDATE - I have received an email from Square-Enix public relations that states that the game has not been cancelled and an official statement will be provided tomorrow."

I would be most disappointed if this was true. I loved CC for the Gamecube (may its tiny discs never falter in their spinning!) and was disappointed with the DS offering.
Must have moar CC on stationary console.

What?! Goddammit! Fail, Square, FAIL. I've been waiting for this game for ages, and the trailer looked like the first worthwhile RPG on Wii in, well, ever!

ok, not that i'm lamenting or anything, but if this turns out to be true not only will square get a BIG FAT FAIL from me but it'll confirm that square looks down on the Wii (or should i say on Ninty). AND that'll be another comapny that i'll GO RAMBO on at their headquarters!! no but serisously if this is true then fail, square, FAIL!
