Portable SNES vs. portable SNES

But unless you're some sort of ambidextrous, giant-handed mutant freak, you probably can't play two of these at once, and that means you have to choose. Which one do you prefer: kotomi's, or, uh, the other guy's? Unfortunately, we don't know his/her name, though we wish we did!

Realistically, gotta go for the one on the left, it looks better, and frankly easier to hold.
The frankenbox on the right must be a pain to hold, the D-Pad and buttons are pretty far from the sides, and it looks thicker and bigger than a gameboy.

As much as I loved my original Game Boy, I never want to go back to something that feels so... clunky. Kotomi's has a much slicker look... plus it is displayed playing Yoshi's Island. GIMME!!!

The one on the left looks more comfortable to hold, but the one on the right is more in the theme of the NA release of the SNES.
The one on the left is white and also has the tri-color logo that was the trademark of the Super Famicom, thus technically making it a portable Super Famicom, not a portable SNES.
Both are better than I could do. Good work both of you!

The Japanese Super Famicom was released in Europe as the SNES.
The left system was also designed by a french guy, but for some reason it takes USA carts.

Well, I stand corrected then. :-)
He must've used the guts from a US SNES then? Or did he use a SNES on a chip board?

The one on the right was done by "Turbo Tax". He's a member of the benheck.com forums, where you'll find a whole lot more portables than ever makes the rounds on these blogs.
