Two wonderful Tatsunoko vs. Capcom videos

These two clips suffer a bit from their conversion to embeddable Web formats, but that seems inevitable for something so quick and dynamic as Tatsunoko vs. Capcom footage. First, we have the commercial for the Japanese Wii release, narrated by Yatterman villains Boyacky and Tonzler.
After the break, we have extended gameplay footage, featuring a tag-team fight between Ryu and Street Fighter III's Alex vs. Ken the Eagle and Jun the Swan from Gatchaman. This amazing clip can be seen in higher quality at Famitsu. The super high speed and air combos help cement this game as a Vs. series game!

Why couldn't we get Street Fighter 4 in these graphics? That woulda been okay with me..

The more I see of this game, the more I want to import Japanese Wii to play it.

go the homebrew way and you'll only have to import the game and not a Wii also to play it

I want this game, why they cannot bring it to us??? :(, they can make a "VizMedia VS Capcom" that would be excelent :D

Tatsunoko doesn't own all the licenses in the US; contacting all the companies that own each one of these characters to get permission would be a nightmare, especially since multiple companies in the US have probably published titles with the same characters. I wouldn't trust Capcom USA to go through that much trouble; they're not very bright... they gave us CvS2 EO, and look at that pile of crap.

I've already pre-ordered at my local import spot. But Gecko needs to update there region free hack cuz it no longer works. So now i cant play my disaster DOC or My tatsunoko when i get it =(

If they don't announce it for the US in Early 2009, i'll be saving up the cash to import this.
Though, I have a question: Does Tvs.C have online play?

It's very unlikely. There is no online precedent for this series, so online Tatsunoko Vs would be a surprising first. Plus, this is a Japan-only Arcade port of a fighting game; with online gaming still slowly burgeoning in Japan it seems unlikely Capcom would go through all that effort for a small section of the audience. Hell, they're struggling to implement decent online into the SF2 HD remake. But there's always hope, huh.
