Nippon Ichi signs up for Wii, Disgaea a tantalizing possibility
We already knew that Nippon Ichi would have some kind of presence on the Wii (news of an NIS WiiWare game, Let's Hitchhike, was leaked last month), but now Nippon Ichi and Nintendo's platform are a super official couple, because the publisher has signed up as a Wiiware and Wii developer.It's the "and Wii developer" bit which is significant here. Naturally, the first property which springs to mind where Nippon Ichi is concerned is Disgaea. The company has been only too happy to spread the series across multiple formats (some would say it's been spread too thinly), so the world's best-selling home console seems like a logical next stop. Make it happen, NIS!

Lets just hope by "disgaea" they don't mean a fourth port of the original. Because I want to quite buying copies of that game.

Still haven't came back to playing D1 on the DS for unknown reasons: I want to get back into it when I can.
Though as for the Wii; if it is a Disgaea project then at least release a port of 2-3. :D

Nippon Ichi would fit perfectly with the Wii-- their game engines never run beyond what the Wii could easily pump out, and the larger base means better shots at profit.
Also, I want some bloody Marl Kingdom ports, or at least a third Mana Khemia. D:

YEA FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!!! yea i don't have a ps2 cuz i'm weird lik that and my parents nevr bought me one but they got me a wii so i rele hope they make a port for the 2nd and 3rd games that would be so friggin awesome. Besides, disgaea could probably run on the wii. I can't wait for something like that :) i already have disgaea 1 on my ds so i rele want to play the other games :) that and i dont want to get a friggin ps3 even if its for disgaea 3, so releasin it on the wii would be just GREAT!!!!!. wow that was long lol
