The terrifying mystery of Cursed Mountain screens
We hope it doesn't seem to cynical of us if we say we aren't quite certain these Cursed Mountain screenshots are genuinely captured from the game. For one thing, they are offered on the Cursed Mountain website in a 1280x750 resolution. They also feature graphical effects, like the glow around this ghost, that appear to have been added later. Plus we can tell from some of the pixels.
We don't want to disparage Deep Silver for (potential) doctoring of early screenshots, because we'd have to take the same position against every developer, ever. At least what they intend to do with Cursed Mountain -- a survival horror game set in a haunted Tibetan monastery -- is cool and original!

#1 - They are 1280x750, but they're obviously stretched from 480p resolution.
#2 - The glow effect seems like the exact same effect utilized in plenty of games for the Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, yadda yadda... It's definitely possible on the Wii. Know how I know that? Metroid Prime 3 already did it.

Motions, screens whatever... If it isn't Mario, Zelda or some periperhal Nintendo won't release it to our market.. I've lost faith in Nintendo... as I've said before, they couldn't bring a title like Fatal Frame here. I'm so disappointed in what Nintendo offers to us. They are many many great titles and it seems like they don't want to bother with us. Day of Disaster, is that coming to us when? Fragile, dated in Jap but how about here? Conduit, publisher? Maybe Sega. Please Nintendo just jump on that, it would make so many people happy, a game like that sittin in limbo, Nintendo is making me sick. Blah

TBH - I don't own a DS but you really can't hate on ninty. Maybe they are lacking right now on the wii. I mean for sh*t sakes this is only the end of yr 2 for the little white box that couldn't. The popularity of the wii is like winning the lotto. No one coulda guessed Nintendo woulda hit the market this much and it is taking time for the developers to jump in and develop games. Hence 2009 2010 we should be seeing alot of great games coming out. We already know the wii isn't capable of 360 or ps3 quality wise, but we all knew that prior to buying it. So just enjoy the best games that are out and coming out.
For all we know the wii will get the support of games and developers as much as the ds did. I mean the when the GBA was still getting supported, the DS didn't have nearly as many games good or bad coming out for it. Now look at it.
