Have a look at these two
arcade sticks by Exar. As far as anyone knows, they are completely identical except for color scheme and artwork. Ignoring external factors like
price, which one is the stick for you? The one with monochrome buttons and artwork that ties it in with
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, or the plain stick with Super Famicom-colored buttons that identifies it as a Virtual Console controller? Consider it a personality test, except that what it reveals about your personality is limited mostly to arcade stick color scheme preference.

I like the plain one. The artwork is nice but makes it less appealing to the masses who dont play the certain Street Fighter game they are pushing.

Well, I'd have to choose the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom stick for the following reasons - 1) I love Capcom. 2) I love 2-D fighters (even though TvC is 3-D, it has a 2-D sensibility about it). And 3) I own all of Gatchaman on DVD already. It's like Exar read my mind and crafted the perfect product per their findings.

The TvC one is awesome but every time I looked at it I'd shed a silent tear that the game will never be released here.

Is Tatsunoko vs Capcom coming to the States?

I would choose the TvC one if I had to choose... that being said I would have liked it better if the TvC stick had the colored buttons.

I like my controllers simple, but that art is too neat to pass up

I would have to go for the more simplistic one on the right. Although, truth be told I'd prefer the Hori one over both.
