Gardening Mama says put it in the ground
Mama's so talented. No more is she limited to the kitchen, sweetly suggesting you chop vegetables before she tans that behind. Now she's free to rove in the gardens as well, pointing at the shrubbery and essaying commands. Of course, after this screenshot, we fully expect an English-Teaching Mama in the future. The sky's the limit, Mama! So long as you stick to traditionally feminine roles, anyway.505 Games just announced that they'll have the latest in Mama's franchise on shelves in Europe in the spring, to coincide with the release of that region's Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen for the Wii. Since World Kitchen is slated for November in the U.S., and no similar announcement has yet been made for Gardening Mama here, it doesn't look like we'll see the same dual release.

"So long as you stick to traditionally feminine roles, anyway."
Native [American] cultures considered gadening a male sort of thing. That was to sustain an entire village/group, though, rather than something more recreational as this. Wouldn't mind seeing something like Comuter Mama or Electrical Repair Mama, but those activities are patently more dangerous IRL, both for the kid and whatever they set their hands (or worse) to. Whatever happens from here it's gotta be within the realm of "kids won't be easily killed by this, mostly because their parents will definitely be familiar enough with it."

I guess "women's suffrage mama", "civil rights mama" and "Global Economics mama" were canceled due to budgetary constraints...
Still at least these games are reasonably well made, I'd hate to think that women were being profiled by sub standard gameplay, that's just adding insult to injury right there

@BlackDS: funny, but true. I see no reason why there could not be a doctor mama given the success of doctor simulation games, or a lawyer/detective mama given the success of the PW series. But that would ask for her to step outside the house and it's immediate vicinity. >__>
Still, I have played Cooking Mama, and it is fun, albeit rather shallow. It would really help the franchise if it did go beyond it's rather "girly" roots.
