Wii Warm Up: Holiday wishes

Some among you may be gearing up for the holiday season, and even though no one has any damn money (thank you, catastrophic global economy), that's never stopped us from asking for things before. This year, it may be more hoping than expecting, but by golly, we're gonna ask for things. It never hurts to try.Which leads us to ask: what's on your holiday wish list so far? Is there enough coming out to keep you satisfied, or will you be turning to other systems to get your game on?

My biggest wish is actually rygar. I never new the original exsisted since i came late to the ps2 scene and i'm glad. The original looked ok, but i'm so glad my first experience is going to be this one with the new character style. The potential of this game alone already has me hoping there is a sequel. Other than that rock band two would be cool. As to the other point, i do really hope to get a ps3 kinda soon so i can play silent hill 5. I think thats my all time favorite franshise right now. I know it got mediocre reviews. bit i just don't see how i could go from loving every silent hill to hating this one. Speaking of survival games and wishing, the one thing the wii definately doesn't have and doesn't look to have soon is an awesome 1st person shooter/horror game, like dead space or doom 3. i want to blast some scary sh*t in a 1st person view, and i don't want to be on rails damnit! Huh, seems i have alot of pent up frustration for the wii right now, oh well. Might as well add i wish for an original badass 1st person shooter that uses the nunchuck/zapper combo. It's so much more immersive to point at the screen and fire when your holding a gun. But rails are so limiting. I tried using the zapper in metroid after using the alt config, but there was to much to do with the buttons.
ok, i'm done, i swear. That's my wish list. Most of which i know a won't get. Now that that's all out of me, i'll talk to you guys in six months :)

There's not much I'm excited about on the Wii this holiday season. What I am excited about is the possibility of getting one of the other consoles and playing some of the "other" games that I've had to forgo because I own a Wii.

Tales of Symphonia and Ultimate Shoting Collection are the only Wii games on my Holiday list. The DS and PS3 are getting more love from me during that time.

I have to say there are a lot of wii games I'm looking forward to, albeit I probably won't get most of them.

-That creepy first person horror game that got leaked yesterday

-Animales
-That episodic horror game in the airport that looks "bloody" fantastic
-Any old school remake (hoping for Castlevania or Ninja Gaiden)

-Give me the Mothers Goddamnit
-And hopefull more of Square and Enix's plethora of IPs

I can't afford all the games I want this holiday.
Both Sonic games, SPRay, Mushroom Men, Banjo Kazooie, Battle Fantasia, de Blob (which I've only rented, but it's awesome)...a whole bunch more I can't think of, too.
I reactivated my Gamefly subscription to try and weed out the less than great games, although Banjo and Mushroom Men are the only guaranteed buys from me, barring insanely poor reviews.

It's mainly DS games - Time Hollow, Lux-Pain, Flower, Sun, and Rain - and maybe Fable 2.
Disaster comes out next week and I'll probably get that, but I don't see myself buying another Wii game this year.

ACtually, the only thing right now thats on my wish list is a XBox360. Its tough though, since I'm basically trying to convince both my fiancee and my parents that I need one this year. Haha. It was so much easier to get expensive things like that when I was a kid.
My Dad was asking me yesterday "So whats that box thing you were talking about a few days ago, some Box you didn't have yet?" "Xbox360, Dad. Its the Gameconsole from Microsoft." I said "Oh, how much are they running these days?"
Smoooooooooooooooth, Dad. Smooth. Haha.
So if I do end up snagging myself a 360, Its GTAIV, some Shooters, and probably a Soccer game.
The Wii is stale this year, for me at least (Tons of other games coming out, dont get me wrong!). I'm still waiting for the Conduit as my Main game for my Wii.

Probably nothing on the Wii, but there are stacks of DS games I'd like. Which one it'll be (FFIV? FFTA2? Dragon Quest?), I'm not sure yet, but I think it's a fairly safe bet it'll say 'Square-Enix' somewhere on the box. Am getting something slightly Wii related though - the Okami artbook, which I've already ordered, and which is very pretty. ^_^ Uh, not that I opened it and took a quick peek at a couple of pictures or anything, of course. Oh no.
