Sheath up for PopStar Guitar

We're yet to write about Popstar Guitar, Midway and XS Games' Guitar Hero rip-off that takes "derivative" to a whole new level. There are several very good reasons for this, two of which you can find after the jump, and five of which you can see here.
But at least the peripheral that comes with the game, this odd-looking Wiimote sheath, is interesting enough to warrant a mention. MTV's Patrick Klepek went hands-on with the add-on yesterday and reportedly found it ... pretty uncomfortable. Still, it's not really for hardcore blog-reading types, and as Klepek points out, $59.99 is a heck of a lot cheaper than the alternative. No pinkie-destroying fifth button, though? Kids these days!

What's the clip-on attachment for Wii Music that's mentioned in the article?
Also, this is definitely aimed at tweens, between the stupid poses and the "top 100" style of pop music. With this in mind.. how the heck are you supposed to hold it?! The guitar hero controller is hard enough to hold, and I'm an adult! I only have a few words for this game and its stupid attachment: ugly and poorly made cash-in.
I definitely endorse making games accessible for younger people, but not like this..

The clip-on attachment for Wii Music is invisible (aka there is none).
I actually think this is pretty cool. It gives you Guitar Hero functionality and more, without the need for big bulky (and expensive) guitars. It even has a pass-through for the nuchuk.
Plus it is gripped just like a guitar or guitar hero controller. In some ways I like it better.

@Sonic_13: Oh, I'm a bit thick, thanks for clarifying.
I still think the sleeve's a bit ugly. It just reminds me a little like those quiz show buzzers for the PS2. Just slap a Staples Easy Button on top of the D pad and it's QUIZ TIME!
But now that I read your comment (and the article again), I agree with the functionality. It also cuts down on the clutter when it's not in use compared to the guitars.

Has anyone thought how much its going to hurt on the wrist trying to both hold, and stretch your digits round this thing?
Also... 3 words "the jonas brothers".
Nuff said.

It's not even a guitar. Half the fun is taken out with just that.
This must be for the air guitar people.
