Rock Band 2 on Wii given vague release date

Now everybody loves Rock Band 2 again for
That's right: the Sony and Microsoft consoles will be getting their fill of faux-rocking from October 19th, but Wii owners will be left waiting until December some unspecified day. As suspected, the disc alone will cost $49.99, drums will set you back $89.99, a guitar a further $69.99, and the full instrument-bundled edition $189.99. It's probably worth mentioning that Guitar Hero: World Tour ships October 26th on all consoles.

YES! Muppet love! Oh, yes. Back on subject, why did you find it worth noting that Guitar Hero comes out after? Rock Band 2 has everything but the Mii thing and create a song. People who will create songs, probably won't be making good ones, and I see no point in the Mii thing. Besides! Rock Band 2 has better songs.

The Xbox360 version of Rock Band 2 has been out for several weeks already. It's just the PS3 version that comes out the 19th.

I can't wait to see the european price/release date! Do I hear £180 - £200 people?? But its ok caus it "won't magically change just because you want it to..."
As you can tell i'm rather bitter about this...

If they're taking the extra time to ensure GHWT drums work on RB2, that's cool with me. Though if it's gonna be late it'd be nice if they'd have more of the DLC back catalog available for Wii at launch.

Since I wasn't even considering RB2 for the Wii until this week (DLC & compatibility FTW) I'm perfectly fine waiting a couple of months +/- a couple of weeks to drop some more cash.

F@#k Rock Band 1 and 2.
Guitar Hero aint much better, but I'll play it.

I´ll change my mind and buy RB2 rather than WT.
I know in the end ill have the two.!!.
Na definetly it will be better to buy the world tour thing and just buy the disk for RB 2., we are just waiting the drums to be compatible with RB2.

I, like most, and getting GH:WT in the hopes that it will be compatible with RB1/2 and we will be, as my two year old daughter proclaimed today, and "Rock Band Hero" house!!

You know, I went to Target and asked about Wii RB2. The lady there says Nintendo is now projecting a release date in March 2009! What??!! I guess we ought to be happy for GHWT!
