Blast Works arrives in Europe tomorrow
According to an entry for Blast Works on the Nintendo of Europe website, the incredibly cheap and really fun shooter from Budcat will arrive on European retail shelves tomorrow, as the listed date of release is October 17th.
We're not sure if the game is going to cost as little across the pond as it does here in North America, but we're hoping it does. Either way, you need to pick up this fine game. It's easily worth more than $20.

Hopefully Eidos puts out more than a single pizza leaflet informing people that this game actually exists. It doesn't seem that's the case, though.

If you don't like shmups, then this probably isn't the best game for you... but otherwise it's an amazing game and well worth owning. Although the top notch user-generated content is still a bit limited, there is more than enough to cover the price of admission (without even considering the built-in campaign mode, arcade mode, and bonus Kenta Cho unlockable games).
Enjoy, Europe! This is probably as close to LBP as Wii will get.

Most "cheap" - in US - games over here in Europe cost 60€ flat.

Man, I enjoy shmups, but I HATED this game! Easy was too easy and hard was too hard.

It really isn't an easy game, but practice does improve your skills. Knowing when to retract additions to your ship and when to let it all hang out is crucial, and dodging takes practice because your ship doesn't move that quickly.
I'm halfway through the campaign in Pilot mode now, and have a bunch of cheats and secrets unlocked. Took some time and effort, but was a lot of fun to get this far.

That's not the only problem with the game. The creator was overrated and limited. You have to drag the at adifferent angle to make the visible? How the @#$% am I supposed to know that?!?!?!?! It's hard to get the shape you want too! Why do you have to hold down Z to hide everything? It should be the oppsite! My finger got sweaty after 10 minutes. This game was just an over-hyped game people had to rate high because they couldn't handle it being bad (or they just had different tastes).
