Rising Star on the two versions of No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle [update]
Rising Star Games, Marvelous Entertainment's European arm, gave a statement to Electronic Theatre about the dual-version European release of No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle announced by Suda51. On a basic level, Rising Star's Yen Hau confirmed the plans to sell two versions, not that we didn't believe Suda.
Hau also detailed the exact differences between the two releases, and it's good news. "There's no difference bar the blood," Hau said. "If you remember the differences of the first game it'll be just that." The "uncensored" European release will be exactly like the US version, and the "censored" release will be like the Japanese version. This also means that Grasshopper is planning to release the game in Japan.
We look forward to hearing more details about the logistics of this dual release -- like whether both versions will be available in stores, and if the packaging and marketing will vary.

A bit too early to be talking about this, i think. When the game in question is still more than a year away.
Nobody likes to suffer

I liked it even without all that blood. But I'm sure I'll enjoy the gory version just as much :p

Can't wait for this :) NMH was and still is my favorite Wii game (until Monster Hunter 3 comes out).

My theory is it is the guy in the beef head video . Bishop Shidux, remember his girlfriend sent him a text message saying "kill kill kill".
the manual says that Dr. Naomi has a mysterious past too.

i loved NMH, i've playe it once, and am playing it again on the 'bitter' difficulty. But in the press release, it mentioned a best friend; who is this? are we supposed to know, or is it a 'yet to be announced' character in the next game? Also, i was fine with the santa destory in the first game, it might be a little bland, but i hope suda51 doesn't make it like GTA, it takes away from the awsome-ness that NMH represents to me!

Why don't they just have a setting in the Options menu...

To get over the rating board. The thing is that, rating board don't care if there's a parental feature, as long as the media contain the bloody scenes.

Will there be two releases in the US? My buddy can't play this game due to the kiddos. He'd snag it in a second if it weren't so Kill Bill.
