Musicians rock out with Wii Music
The Nintendo Channel updated today with some new videos for upcoming games, like Away: Shuffle Dungeon, Art Style: Cubello, World of Goo and, as seen above and past the break, Wii Music. Above, you can see rapper Cee-Lo rocking out with Wii Music's beatbox instrument. After checking out that video, cruise past the break for some footage of funkadelic artist G. Love enjoying some gameplay.

Wii music looks better and better everyday. I hope that there are alot of good songs on it.

I agree, Wii Music's appeal has certainly increased since its disastrous re-unveiling.

It does seem better, now that it seems there can be onscreen icons to help you with your beats right.
I will discard it's disastrous showing at E3, mainly because I think E3 as a whole was a disaster, and Nintendos whole showing was an epic fail.

I'm glad alot of people are starting to get into this game. I thought I was the only. I was prepared to play the game alone at my house with the lights off, just so no one would know I was playing it. Now I'm free

I should add that it STILL looks primarily as a kids toy / educational tool.
Though it might, MIGHT be a better drunk/party game then Guitar Hero of Rock Band because no matter how smashed/crappy you are, you can keep playing.
Plus, when you're hammered what do you want to play more? Guitar? Drums? Or COWBELL!!!!!????

i really want this and i was one of the ppl who hated it at first

Cee-Lo isn't a rapper, vocalist would be more appropriate, he IS the lead singer for Gnarls Barkley y'know.
Sorry, just a massive GB fan and a massive rap hater....
wud_e @ Oct 14th 2008 11:30AM
Actually both of you are right.
Cee-lo is a rapper who also sings. Gnarls Barkley for Cee-lo is like a side project gone totally right. Cee-lo Started in a great Southern Rap group called Goodie Mob where he was a rapper. Have you ever heard of the rap song "They Don't Dance No Mo"? He a also makes guest appearances on Outkast songs where he raps.
Also Rap isn't as bad as you think. Just don't base it on the stuff you hear on the radio.
wud_e @ Oct 14th 2008 11:33AM
Oh yeah Yahoo search or Youtube Goodie Mob

Seems interesting, but I lack the funds for this game which I think would collect dust in my house.
And its getting harder and harder to buy 50USD retail games when Wiiware is putting some quality titles out (MegaMan9, Bomberman Blast, World of Goo,Tetris Party).

Are we going to be able to make our own freestyle songs as well? Is this primarily just for doing other songs?
