Miyamoto shows the kids Wii Music
Since we all know Wii Music is not a game, but a toy, the target audience has to be the really young. Why else would Miyamoto be at a Japanese preschool, showing off the title? But, hey, we have to give it up to Shiggy and Nintendo. If there's a great way to gather interest in a title, it's with a dozen or so cute, smiling children.

I didn't have my speakers on, so i can only presume that the little picture of Totakeke meant that Totaka-san was involved in this?

No, it means K.K. Slider worked on this game!!

if i had a little kid, i would definitly but this for him/her, but the problem with this game is that its only marketed for a single group of people, and thats little kids, and once they grow older, they wont care for it, but it will sure be played by other kids in the future

this doesn't help ninty's kiddy image (no more heroes 2 ftw!) but I shouldn't be doubting anything from the mind of miyamoto-san. just have to wait until it comes out to judge it. and considering that people are rushing to buy wiis even if they don't play video games and the smiles on those children, this would certainly be a good tool for babysitters. miyamoto-san ftw!

Whoa, is Miyamoto's hair getting gray?
TheOverlord#2 @ Oct 10th 2008 6:59AM
Well, he is turning 56 the day AC:CF launches. Though that would mean I doubt the Almighty Ruler and Savior Miyamoto will live forever.
So, it's probably just the light reflecting off his hair.

i think its great that ninty develops casual games for kids. not only do they deserve to have fun with a console like the rest of us, but we have to remember that children are our future (and i'm speaking seriously here)! so long as ninty provides the CORE audience with CORE games then it could care less if they develope 100 casual games for kids. we just have to remember that at some point in time we were also kids who loved playing video games.

Wow, someone actually GETS it.
Congratulations. You get to count yourself among the few gamers who are rational and don't freak out when every single game made isn't intended for them and only them.
Just_a_guy @ Oct 10th 2008 12:38PM
wow. I might have to get this game for all my cousins to play when they come over :)
RatMasterD21 @ Oct 10th 2008 12:44PM
i was really REALLY impressed buy this video..I'm getting the game now. Wii music was pretty meh to me but it looks like i can put it on and just have a blast with my little ones. Thank you Miyamoto for showing me the light once again.
samfish @ Oct 10th 2008 2:17PM
I'll probably end up buying this after watching this video. Those kids made Wii Music look infinitely more fun and interesting than that stupid E3 conference did.
Nintendo should have had a group of kids demo it at E3 instead.
