Born for Wii: Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil
Either someone out there has been reading Born for Wii, or we have impeccable taste. Still, if this keeps up, it's going to be hard for us to come up with game selections that make you go "Man, why didn't I think of that?" This week is a case in point: Namco went and ruined the surprise by announcing a remake of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile for the Wii. Really, though, that just makes this week's choice all the more likely to see the light of day.The Klonoa series is often overlooked when gamers list off their favorite platformers. A certain plumber seems to snag the spotlight all too often. Still, Klonoa has a considerable cult following, and for good reason: the gameplay manages to be incredibly straightforward and fun at the same time. Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil is one of the most fun, lighthearted games of last generation, and its atmosphere and design make it a perfect match for the Wii.

I don't actually think this is very likely to come out. It's readily available (on eBay at least) for relatively cheap.
Not like the first one anyway. Case in points: http://cgi.ebay.com/Klonoa-Door-To-Phanomile-Playstation-1-2-3-PS1-Namco_W0QQitemZ270281915424QQihZ017QQcategoryZ139971QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I Tried Playing Klonoa 2 on my new set up and the screen kept blanking glitching at the begining of each scene.
A fully functional 480p Klonoa 2 would be nice.

I think Door to Phanomile is a better choice than Lunatea's Veil, because Door to Phanomile will benefit the most from upgrading to the Wii's graphics.
However, I think Tail Concerto is even more "Born for Wii" because the third-person shooting action should fit well with the Wii's controls.

Ugh, waggle control to shoot the ring would be terrible. TBH, none of these "Born for Wii" things really appeal to me with Wiimote controls. I'd much rather play them as they originally were.
Loved Klonoa 1 and 2 though, criminally overlooked.

Good review. Sounds like my kind of game. I hate dying and love gem collecting! Going to be my next Gamestop purchase.
