VC Monday Madness: Mario Golf and Shining Force II
There were lots of titles that released this week, both on store shelves and distributed through the Wii. On the Virtual Console, we've got two games. So, hit up the video above, then head past the break for the rest.

Mario Golf (N64, 1 - 4 players, 1,000 Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download
Camelot makes great golf games, don't get me wrong, but with the chance that the GameCube title could get re-branded as a Play on Wii game, as well as the hefty price tag, I can't suggest you shell out $10 on this.

Shining Force II (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!
Shining Force II is a big game. For $8, you're getting an RPG that fans have loved for years, as well as a game that you'll easily invest hours and hours into. If that sounds like your cup of tea, then go for it and check out Shining Force and Shining Force II.

I would say get Shining force 2 considering at times I have seen it go for around 100.00 on EBAY.

Could you show me a link to the video on Youtube? Recently the Internet Channel won't let me see embedded Youtube videos. :(

oh F*cking Sh*t!!
i've been waiting for SF2 to be release since I beat the original in '94.
BEST GAME EVER. Leaps and bounds over the first one ( 2nd best game ever)
The secret boss battle at the end of the credits is rediculously fun and Peter edges Domingo out as the best Character of both games.

This made me dig out the Gamecube version of Mario Golf since it obviously works on the Wii anyway. The game already plays great with a Wavebird so need for a waggletastic Wiimake.
Roddie @ Oct 6th 2008 10:31PM
That would be *NO* need for a waggletastic Wiimake, even...
TheOverlord#2 @ Oct 7th 2008 8:56AM
Well, everyone says that Mario Super Sluggers is exactly like the GC game, except with waggle...
Roddie @ Oct 7th 2008 9:25AM
I know we'll get a waggle edition of Mario Golf, but I'm saying we don't need it. Just play the Gamecube version.
TheOverlord#2 @ Oct 7th 2008 10:24PM
Actually, I think I would like Wii Sports Golf w/ better graphics anc Mario characters.
That is, when it's $25.
Roddie @ Oct 7th 2008 10:31PM
Camelot's existing control scheme for a controller is far superior to the Wii Sports waggle control.
