Along with a batch of screens of the remake of
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, Famitsu has posted a perfect comparison shot between the new Wii version and the PlayStation version. These two screens put next to each other will disabuse you of the nostalgic memory of
Klonoa on the PlayStation looking nice, and will
completely shatter any idea of the Wii version being a simple port.
What it does suggest is that
Klonoa on the Wii is a
very close remake of the PlayStation game. This environment, at least, looks completely identical in layout. There may be extras attached (probably), but we expect this to be an upgraded remake rather than a re
mix.

Klonoa didn't attract me as it should've when I was young (it made many people love it... yet I could care less about anything that wasn't turn-based RPGs when I was younger)... so I'll give it a second shot. :D And it'll be a great way of introducing the series to the gf.
