Details on Guitar Hero: World Tour pricing

Earlier today,we told you about a Guitar Hero: World Tour deluxe bundle. Some mistook that as a price for the whole entire band kit. On top of that, confusion surrounding the price for the bundle still gathered, enough so that Activision Blizzard had to clarify the issue. Pricing for the game's bundles is as follows:

$190 for the full band kit
$110 for the bundle we posted about earlier
$100 for the guitar/game bundle

Anyone know if a Wii remote is required to use the mic?

....'cause I've got just 3 (but plenty of 'cube controllers) and I hate the idea of getting what would amount to a $40 button just for a 4th player.

It's not confirmed but I think the singer needs a wiimote for choosing a character.

I'm pretty sure you can use another player's guitar to pick a character if you use the mic.
And the Mic is USB, so it plugs into the back of the Wii. Hmm...I wonder if you can use WiiSpeak with GH:WT...

Yeah, I don't think Im going to be getting this right away. $190 plus $40 for an extra remote (I only have 2 ) means more money then I can afford right now.

Not to mention Im one of the few people that has never played guitar hero (yeah I know, where have I been). I'll wait awhile before I buy this.

Apparently the drums will be sold separately some(unknown)time down the line.

thats their "deluxe" bundle, also comes with a shirt, guitar bag and a keychain.

i can understand how this can be confusing. and along the lines of anthony, i dont understand why they wouldnt immediately make a bundle with only drums and mic and game so that their guitar hero fanbase could easily get the game -- i'm hesitant to buy another guitar for bass at this point.
