Sin & Punishment 2 and other third-party gems confirmed [update]

Nintendo just unleashed a demo reel of upcoming third-party Wii games, including Taiko no Tatsujin Wii, a new Tsumi to Batsu/Sin & Punishment game from Treasure, a Wii version ofAnother Code (otherwise known as Trace Memory, the DS adventure game), Let's Tap (Yuji Naka's latest project, a.k.a. the game that even penguins can play), Sengoku Musou 3 (Samurai Warriors 3) and a new "mothership" title in the Tales Of series.
Will the internet regard this as the press conference that E3 should have been? We suspect so!

... How much does it cost to buy more hours in the day?
Nica @ Oct 2nd 2008 2:15AM
I haven't even finished the first Sin and Punishment, but I'm already extremely excited about number 2, with Wii aiming!

Can't wait to play Sin & Punishment 2.

Man, I am so excited by everything Nintendo announced today. They did an incredible job. Sin and Punishment 2 sounds great.
There's a lot of stuff featured in the videos they show that hasn't even been reported yet, like a new WarioWare for DS, a new Mario and Luigi game, a new exercise game for DS (with the pedometer), what looks like Stage Debut DS, and Mii's on DS.
Bravo Nintendo!

indeed. the video is VERY reassuring, as a wii owner
does anyone have any information on what that space game was? (at first glance, you might think it was dead space)
Buntaro @ Oct 2nd 2008 8:55AM
It's called "Cosmic Walker", developed by a company name "Gaia". I'm afraid that's all the information we got at this point.
I though of Endless Ocean in space when I first saw it in the video, then I checked for some screenshots and found this:

The pictures make it look like an action game, considering the health bar and the gun icon.

sin and punishment 2 would be amazing. upon watching that video it looks like they're making a lost magic game on wii as well? that'd be awesome!

Italicising everything makes it look like we're all being sarcastic.
Aside from that, what a lovely idea.
MowDownJoe @ Oct 2nd 2008 8:11AM
BROKEN ITALICS TAG! YAY!
Rocketboy @ Oct 2nd 2008 8:35AM
I'm italicising, because I care...
About the totally awesome games announced!
Mr Khan @ Oct 2nd 2008 9:20AM
There should be a broken ALL CAPS tag. This whole topic is cruise-control for cool.
Sin & Punishment was one of the more obvious "Born for Wii" titles.
CJLopez @ Oct 2nd 2008 11:48AM
Wow, neat!!!!
So, Nintendo is making up for E3??? What ya think????
il_duce620 @ Oct 2nd 2008 12:09PM
Uhhhh...that video includes screen shots of a new Street Fighter game... Is that Street Fighter IV?!
Marcelo @ Oct 2nd 2008 1:00PM
That's definitely not SF4.
The title up top said [somethingjapanese] CAPCOM so it might be like an SNK vs. Capcom or Marvel vs. Capcom or something like that.
Ben @ Oct 2nd 2008 4:59PM
These videos, that they showed for the Wii and DS, should have been done for the E3 and blown everyone away.
