Puppy puzzler coming to WiiWare
MTO's Minna de Asobou! Koinu de Kururin (Let's All Play! Puppy Kururin!) may officially be the cutest game on WiiWare when it arrives in Japan on October 7. Koinu Kururin, based on a DS game, is a basic color-matching puzzle game made impossibly cute.
The basic mechanic in Koinu de Kururin involves lining puppies up with doghouses of the same color. All puppies of the same color will then disappear single-file into the doghouse. Big combos allow players, in the guise of the super-cute chibi dog of their choice, to unleash "Kururin Smash" attacks that cover up the other player's screen or drop items. WiiWare may be overrun with puzzlers, but we'll take as many 500-point options as companies want to provide, especially when they're so heartbreakingly adorable.

Sounds a lot like SEGA's BakuBaku Animal or Capcom's pendant game Puzzle Fighter. Both games were a lot of fun, but unless this one offers something new, I'll pass.
