i love the game's art direction, and the gameplay seems to be also well done. ^^

This sounds like graphics fetishism, but the 2d visuals look excellent, easily on Sega Saturn level.
I can't think of a low resolution 2d RPG or action adventure that looks largely better.
P.S.
PAL relase date is 17th Nov. 2008. Let's hope they really stick to it.
