You are the star of Disaster: Day of Crisis

We're starting to think that the mythical Disaster: Day of Crisis may someday turn out to be a real video game! No, really! Nintendo of Japan has released a series of short commercials for the action/survival game, proving that they're probably going to sell it!
The ads are built around the theme of the game as an action movie with you as the protagonist. Each starts with "Movie star on Wii" and keeps a persistent arrow with the word anata "you" pointed at the onscreen Raymond Bryce. The commercials end with the tagline "Starring: You." A pretty exciting way to start your fake acting career!

they announced this before the wii came out, its just finally made progress. btw jc flecter, why do you put on videos that the wii doesnt support. i always use my wii for internet

Well I´m very suprised that it looked this good. some f the pictures We saw looked like ell Ps2 early life but then this trailer showed us som realy nice graphics it looked realy Cool.

Though it seems that this game is similar to NMH in its use of English dialogue even in the Japanese version, so its localization might be trivial.

thats pretty funny they say its "YOU" cuz i actually look like this guy, in fact i thought that so much i showed a pic 2 my friends, mom, sister, etc. and they all agree and laughed at the sheer creepiness. makes me want this game sooo much more now!

Shame, looks like there's going to be lots of waggle and unnecessary "gestures". Look at one of the first clips of the video, when he's running, there's an image of a remote and nunchuk being (gulp)...... pumped up and down...... Oh dear.......
I imagine when the game hits the west the 'Wii Would Like To Play' commercial will focus almost entirely on this waggly pumping action and all the family having the time of their lives pumping the remote and nunchuk up and down with Joker-like smiles on their faces......

Man....some people are easily impressed.
Honestly guys, these little clips look eerily reminiscent of Alone in the Dark, except not in HD and with waggle. I'm not passing judgment yet, the game is by MonolithSoft and they are certainly a talented studio, we'll see what happens. But so far I can't even understand what kind of a game it is, I'm guessing Indigo Prophecy with on-screen commands tagged to Wii remote gestures.
