Hackers give Brawl cast a change of clothes

Some dudes at Ghosteo have breathed new life into the already-quite-vital Super Smash Bros. Brawl by ripping the game code and editing the textures to look like other well-known Nintendo costumes -- like Fierce Deity Link as he appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Pikachu becomes Plusle and Minun, Lucas becomes a juvenile Phoenix Wright, Ness becomes Zim, and R.O.B. becomes ... R.O.B. covered in blood. It looks like it came out of a Funcoland in Silent Hill.

The Ghosteo posters aren't releasing the textures to the public until they've completed two per character, if at all. So for now all we can do is imagine what it must be like to play Brawl as Sonic, but ... looking like Metal Sonic.

I LOVE Fierce Deity Link. I really hope they revisit this idea sometime in the future, because this super hero version of Link needs much more screen time.

Can these be downloaded to a hacked Wii? because that would be amazing. Also, the lack of nude ZZS shows a suprising amount of class and dignity. way to go guys.

The Ghosteo guys probably have the same problem with it that i do: Respect Samus too much to even consider making her a sexual object

Can anyone else smell "downloadable content" being cooked up here?

I would love to see nintendo find some way to give Brawl an update that lets these extra costumes get implemented.

And I just know that Snake is going to get out fitted with Altair's costume

Also, why did they turn Lucas into Phoenix Wright? That so should have gone to Captain Falcon.

Sorry to bring down your expectatives, but we are talking here of textures modification, no model modification. They won't be able to bring a snake with Altair costume cuz that demands a whole new set of polygon for his clothes and adding more animations to the movement.

I can assure you a old snake version for the brawl will be on, but one with altair custome, not so likely

And I desperately hope that ALL of the female characters in this game get a little respect when it comes to costume mods. Seriously, nude hacks were tiresome after The Sims.

Agreed. Wow the possibilities are endless with this. We could have dark samus, a koopa (Squirtle), maybe Legolas (Link), Master chief (Captain Falcon). And it would be AWESOME if the player could put his/her face on the human characters, but that would be a lot of work.
