Wii Fanboy presents: Game Night [update 2]

Update: The staff have left the Game Night chat. But, there were still plenty of people in there, gaming it up, when we vacated. So, hop in and see what's happening and we hope to see you next week!

We once again come to that magical time of the week, where we can set responsibility aside and enjoy some gaming with our fellow Nintendo enthusiasts. Tonight, at 7pm ET, join us as we throw down in the best online-compatible games Nintendo's platforms have to offer. If you've never been to Game Night before, then head past the break for all the details on how to join us. We hope to see you there!

Welcome to Game Night, a fun activity where we (the staff) and you (the reader) get together and enjoy the multiplayer games available on the Nintendo Wii and DS, every Thursday evening. We meet in a chat room (which you can access by clicking here) and, after exchanging a few friend codes, we get our game on. Sounds simple enough, right?

It is! All you need to do is look for this post to be at the top of the page around 7pm ET tonight, and there'll be a big link in the post, informing you all that Game Night is a go. Click that link, then you're in. Or, you can just click the chat room link above and hang out for awhile. We'll be there around 7pm ET.

I wouldn't say we all play Mario Kart Wii. It's just the easiest to get into and a lot of the regulars dig it. Actually, I just played a bunch of Brawl at Game Night recently.

I tried hopping on late(ish) last week and they weren't playing Mario Kart...it seemed to be mostly Brawl...

Could be wrong, though...the people in the chat room weren't really responding to my questions about Kart... :-P

I wont get home til 7pm CST, so I'll be a little late. Anyone up for some Medal of Honor? I just got it - pretty fun. I have MKW and Brawl, but I kinda want something different.

Mmmm theres a good portion of both I believe. Recently, Ive been playing a little bit more brawl than kart. Thats not counting the few hours i play before game night starts lol...

Just be careful when loading the car! If you have one long open area and you fill it, you may get a Tetris and 4 rows of your belongings will be gone forever!

Are you the guy who's working on Rumble alongside the rest of the team? Just curious.
(in a Sat-Nav voice) Get a DS and/or Wii. Insert game. Get FC from game. Type game and FC into chat. Register FCs that you receive. Play game. Enjoy game. Taunt/Cry at winning/losing.
