Gunstar Heros, great game and it came with a fruit roll up.
shisha @ Aug 27th 2008 12:25PM
Ikaruga is the best shooter of all time, it was the one game that single handedly made get a gamecube back in the day, and re-fuel my fire for japanese shooters. It's been all downhill (including my bank account) from there!!!
drowncharon @ Aug 27th 2008 10:05AM
Mischief Makers FTW!
drowncharon @ Aug 27th 2008 10:09AM
Ok, so it was more platformer than shooter, but I still loved that game back in the day. In case that one doesn't count: Ikaruga.
Shit, did I just disqualify myself?
Dave @ Aug 27th 2008 10:09AM
Mine is totally Bangai-O on DC. Its so intense!!
nil @ Aug 27th 2008 10:09AM
Ikaruga is my favorite; though Bangaio (N64), Mischief Makers and Sin & Punishment are practically neck and neck with it.
SAGExSDX @ Aug 27th 2008 10:10AM
favorite is probably ikaruga
Dustin @ Aug 27th 2008 10:12AM
Ikaruga
gyak @ Aug 27th 2008 10:15AM
Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun, head to head. Maybe RS for its maximalism :)
Brad Mecoli @ Aug 27th 2008 10:16AM
uhm.... slipheed? It's the only one I've touched really >.>
zerokku @ Aug 27th 2008 10:17AM
I'd have to say Bangai-O on the DC myself =)
seishinokami @ Aug 27th 2008 10:20AM
Ikaruga FTW, thats a crazy game
Adam @ Aug 27th 2008 10:22AM
Gunstar Heroes!!
drastic00 @ Aug 27th 2008 10:24AM
Gunstar Heroes is the one I've played...
bombtrak @ Aug 27th 2008 10:25AM
Tough call...it's between Gradius V and Ikaruga for me. Probably Ikaruga for its toughness and polarity gimmick.
Rhyndo @ Aug 27th 2008 10:33AM
Gunstar Heros was probably the most enjoyable for me.
thebagel @ Aug 27th 2008 10:38AM
Ikaruga all the way!
george smith @ Aug 27th 2008 10:38AM
Sin & Punishment!
d @ Aug 27th 2008 10:39AM
i still play gunstar super heroes on the gba/ds, and bangai-o on my dreamcast. I got sin & punishment when it hit the US VC. I havent played Ikaruga in a long time because, let's face it, i plain suck at that game, but damn is it ever fun.
rdaneel72 @ Aug 27th 2008 10:42AM
Gunstar Heros...no, Sin and Punishment...hmmm
Zack @ Aug 27th 2008 10:46AM
I love Gunstar Heroes! Classic stuff.
pinOi32 @ Aug 27th 2008 10:47AM
Ikaruga is my favorite.
Cubivore @ Aug 27th 2008 10:49AM
I love Ikaruga, even though I'm not very good at it...
darkkn1te @ Aug 27th 2008 10:51AM
I gotta go with Ikaruga. I bought it twice for GC and Xbox live
iceman @ Aug 27th 2008 10:53AM
It's a close call between Gunstar Hereos and the original Bangai-o for the Dreamcast. Gunstar wins on nostalgia though. So many days playing that with my brother as a kid.
cphpitts @ Aug 27th 2008 10:55AM
Sin & Punishment. Still not sure what the story is, but great action.
wierzbickrocks @ Aug 27th 2008 10:57AM
Ikaruga!
eugaet @ Aug 27th 2008 10:59AM
Gunstar Heroes. Unfortunately, I have yet to play Ikaruga.
rikki @ Aug 27th 2008 11:00AM
I can't say I'd count Gunstar Heroes as a 'shooter' at allbut I tend to stick run-and-guns in the platformer category if you use anything other than the d-pad/analog stick to move. (jump button, mostly)
Ikaruga, since I haven't actually gotten around to trying Gradius V (just got it a week or so ago)
acefondu @ Aug 27th 2008 11:02AM
Sin and Punishment
Phil @ Aug 27th 2008 11:09AM
Gunstar Heroes - the first game I bought for my Virtual Console.
Ryan G @ Aug 27th 2008 11:11AM
Sin and Punishment
CJC @ Aug 27th 2008 11:12AM
How can I possibly choose? I'm going to say Sin & Punishment, but only because it's freshest in my mind.
wes @ Aug 27th 2008 11:17AM
it's got to be ikaruga.
michaelbarraco @ Aug 27th 2008 11:18AM
Gunstar Heroes blew me away when I first played it on sega Channel.
Squatch @ Aug 27th 2008 11:21AM
Definitely Gunstar Heroes.
igorponweed @ Aug 27th 2008 11:23AM
Never played one. I'll probably get Gunstar sometime...
Roto13 @ Aug 27th 2008 11:23AM
Astro Boy: Omega Factor
dangdong @ Aug 27th 2008 11:24AM
Ikaruga, definitely.
Anthony Escuadro @ Aug 27th 2008 11:27AM
Ikaruga. I'll never sell my GameCube copy.
the scorpion @ Aug 27th 2008 11:27AM
Ikaruga, I guess. That's a tough question because Treasure has so many gems under their belt.
Dig @ Aug 27th 2008 11:30AM
Gunstar Heroes all the way. It was the gateway game that led me to play many of the other titles they have created.
tcat @ Aug 27th 2008 11:32AM
My favorite shooter has to Ikaruga.
Someguy @ Aug 27th 2008 11:32AM
Gunstar Heroes, awesome.
get2joe @ Aug 27th 2008 11:34AM
Gunstar Heroes is my favorite shooter from Treasure.
Jim @ Aug 27th 2008 11:39AM
The only one remotely familiar to me was Gunstar Heroes, so let's go with that one....
TJB @ Aug 27th 2008 11:45AM
gunstar!
Aos @ Aug 27th 2008 11:47AM
Ikaruga on the DC was by far my favorite Treasure Shooter. I still dust off the DC every couple of months to give it a whirl!
MechaBouncer @ Aug 27th 2008 11:49AM
Gunstar Heroes, hands down. Although I will have to give props to Mischief Makers. Treasure never disappoints.
J-son @ Aug 27th 2008 11:54AM
Ikaruga!
