New Mario Kart tourney focuses on rings (and driving through them)

A new Mario Kart Wii tournament has gone live. It takes place between August 15th (hey, that's today!) and August 25th. You'll have to race on Koopa Cape, one lap, through 25 different rings scattered around the course. For some video footage of the tournament track, head past the break.

For some reason, the Tournament function keeps hooking me up to the Haunted House race, the one that was supposed to expire July 24th

And the sharp, square turns on that one keep screwing me over, so i'm sunk

Maybe you should try uninstalling the Mario Kart Channel and reinstalling it? That might force it to redownload the data.

It's prolly too late to post this...I like the tournaments but my friends list in Mario Kart is lacking. Anyone in the Wii Fanboy community want to add me?
