Sega: More Balance Board and Zapper-compatible games on the way
For those of you with a lot of plastic junk laying around, taking up space (remember, if you bought Wii Fit, you only played it once), there's hope! Sega has plans for your Nintendo peripherals, so you might be dusting them off in the near future.During an interview, SEGA of America president Simon Jeffrey commented that Sega is "fans of the Wii Zapper" and that their game Ghost Squad "keeps selling." As for the future, he stated that the company has "more Zapper games going," with the same "for the Wii Balance Board, although we have nothing announced yet." We wonder if this will tie in to that mystery Leipzig game?

You and me both! I enjoyed House of the Dead 2 & 3 Returns and would most definitely appreciate that.

Virtua cop was awesome.

You took the words out of my mouth. An arcade-perfect Virtua Cop 3 on the Wii would be awesome. Throw in Confidential Mission while we're at it. ^_^

We should overun thier forum with a petition of a compilation of this game for the Wii!!!!!
Point the Wiimote -> Action!!!!
Point away the Wiimote -> Hide, reload, weapon selection!!!!

But... Jet Set Radio...
techfreak713 @ Aug 14th 2008 11:29PM
well, i guess the use of the zapper means either a first person shooter or an on-rails shooter (or even both) so this could be good news.

There's no dust on my Zapper or Balance Board.
The Balance Board game that I am actually looking forward to most is Tetris Party for WiiWare. Sure the Balance Board won't be used for competitive play, but it will still be lots of fun.

Please make Jet Set Radio tie into that Balance Board comment.
Although, I'd rather play without a balance board, since, well, I don't have one...
And a GameCube or Classic Controller would be MUCH better.

I just have to comment that the main reason I would want a Jet Set Radio game on Wii is to be able to tag things with the remote. Replacing those joystick rotations from the original with motions would be terrific.
Nowhere in the incredibly vast reaches of all of the possibilities that my mind can fathom would I find the will to play a Jet Set Radio game that was made from the ground up for the Wii with a Gamecube controller. That is simply ludicrous.
Slick @ Aug 15th 2008 3:12AM
No, I mean like Brawl, where it has multiple controllers.
Oh hell, screw it, I'd rather have it on the 360 anyway. HD and a good controller.
Sisyphus @ Aug 15th 2008 3:50AM
If you don't like the Wiimote, you don't like the Wii.
Slick @ Aug 15th 2008 11:17PM
Oh I like the Wiimote just fine but you got to set the limits for a gimmick.
Polecat @ Aug 15th 2008 2:53AM
I am suprised that Namco isn't already on this with their Time Crisis franchise.
Qwikstreet @ Aug 15th 2008 12:32PM
Sega, bring us Brave Firefighter!
