DS Fanboy presents: Game Night [update 2]

It's Thursday, which means it's time to get your game on. Later this evening, we're going to be playing the best of the wi-fi-compatible games on both the DS and Wii. Care to join us? Head past the break for the details!
Welcome to Game Night, a fun activity where we (the staff) and you (the reader) get together and enjoy the multiplayer games available on the Nintendo Wii and DS, every Thursday evening. We meet in a chat room (which you can access by clicking here) and, after exchanging a few friend codes, we get our game on. Sounds simple enough, right?
It is! All you need to do is look for this post to be at the top of the page around 7pm ET tonight, and there'll be a big link in the post, informing you all that Game Night is a go. Click that link, then you're in. Or, you can just click the chat room link above and hang out for awhile. We'll be there around 7pm ET.
Thanks to everyone for participating and we hope to see you there tonight!

I've never done this, but I'm interested in it tonight. And my question is, is there a certain game we're playing? Or did you guys do away with that and basically people play whatever they want?

On the whole, people play whatever they like, though naturally there are favorites. Mario Kart Wii is very popular right now.
That's by no means the only game played, however -- the best thing you can do is pop your head in at 7pm EST and see what's on offer. Hope to see you there!

Play whatever. Brawl and MK are both popular. Bring the codes and you're off. And Tetris DS isn't unheard of.

It's just a big chat room, you exchange friend codes and everyone picks what games they want to play. Works pretty damn good.

I'm up for some MK tonight. See ya's online and avoid the red shells.
