Practice crashing planes in latest downloadable demos
DS demo updates on the Nintendo Channel often get a disappointed reaction from us, but this week's batch does contain at least one interesting addition: Sonic Powered's Air Traffic Chaos, as localized (complete with generic and terrible boxart) by Majesco. At the very least, we're hopeful that the game can replicate the frenzied, panicked pace of a Trauma Center game. The rest of this week's update is fairly humdrum, consisting of a Crosswords DS wordsearch, a Pictoimage demo, and a chance to try out Carnival Games, which has stuck around like a bad smell. The full list of both old and new demos is past the break!

So is there any localization or is it just a straight-up translation?

Just finished snoring through Air Traffic Chaos - this game is an absolute misnomer, as there's nothing very chaotic about it.
In fact, the only potential excitement I could find was when I systematically engineered what I expected to be a massacre of explosive proportions.
Ha-Ha-Ha! Take that Sonic Powered! You tried to make this game boring and unfun! But HA I found a way to enjoy it! By ramming these two planes together, I'm sure I'm bound to be exalted with what will surely be a horrendous purging of all things moral!
HAHA! Oh?
Wait..
That's it?
"Ground Collision - Game Over"
No screams, no skidding carcrash sounds, no fire effects? Just a sepia tone and a passive aggressive bequeathing of my failure? ...And it's not even written in all caps.
What a disappointment.

I tried Air Traffic Chaos and honestly, i enjoyed it. The tutorials made the rookie level really kinda easy, with a few "oh crap" moments that turned out alright.
I'll definitely consider this one.

This looks like a great thing to add to the Download Stations. In fact, anything produced in the last eight months looks like a great thing to add to the Download Stations.
