Hey folks, it's time for another giveaway. This round we'll be hooking up two lucky readers with copies of
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Also, one of those lucky two readers will get a free
Pokemon T-shirt that Nintendo sent over with the game. If it isn't your size, we'd suggest you give it to one of your cousins or something.
What's up for grabs:
- One Grand Prize winner will receive Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time (valued at $35) and one Enter the Dungeon T-shirt
- One runner-up will receive Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness (valued at $35)
In order to enter, you must leave a comment telling us what your absolute favorite
Pokemon is. You can leave a comment
once per day, and before entering, make sure you are a
legal and current United States or Canadian resident (excluding Quebec) and
at least 18 years of age. The giveaway starts now and
ends on Sunday, August 10th at 11:59pm ET. Don't forget to give the
official rules a read, as well!
Best of luck to all of you and, as always, thanks for reading DS Fanboy!

Hunting_phoenix @ Aug 5th 2008 11:11AM
Vulpix, as it was like the first non-starter fire pokemon you can catch in Blue, IIRC.
Rick Lobrecht @ Aug 5th 2008 11:15AM
My son's favorite Pokemon is Lucario. Is that close enough?

I love Haunter!
Ghost types in Red/Blue were such estranged cousins of all the others, because there was only three (and they all came from the same branch). As such, I always felt sort of bad for the trio of maligned creatures.
So naturally, I made it my mission to frequently pull for Haunter and his ethereal brethren whenever appropriate (and sometimes when it wasn't).
My girlfriend, on the other hand, loves Miltank, and it might be the only pokemon she has interest in (as she built a team of six miltanks). Of course, any Pokemon strategist knows I'd win any battle here, 'cuz Miltank is chock full of normal techniques... Which ghost dudes are immune to, right outta' the box! Hell yes!
I'm cool, right?
Lord Humongous @ Aug 5th 2008 11:28AM
Bulbasaur!
eugaet @ Aug 5th 2008 11:26AM

Bulbasaur because I'm old school...
tnke @ Aug 5th 2008 11:29AM
Psyduck FTW. I just wish they would add another evolution chain and power him up with second type.
Tsubasa @ Aug 5th 2008 11:29AM
Blaziken, it's been a fixture in my party for the last 4 years, only recently taking it out.
Pseudoku @ Aug 5th 2008 11:33AM
Pikachu, not only for his appearance in the game and television series, but for his serious pwnage in Super Smash Brothers 64. Seriously unstoppable in the hands of a true Smash 64 master.
jrh @ Aug 5th 2008 11:34AM
Favorite?! Gotta catch 'em all!
Quiggy @ Aug 5th 2008 11:34AM

Yoshi @ Aug 5th 2008 11:58AM
Magikarp is the best, hands down. The first time you ever see one you're all like WTF is that thing, and the first time you see a Gyarados, you desperately want to know how to get one.
Once you find out that Magikarp evolves to Gyarados... you're just crushed that you didn't catch that first Magikarp you saw...
Fiona @ Aug 5th 2008 11:59AM
Gyrados! Though I still hate levelling him from Magikarp.
Jim @ Aug 5th 2008 11:59AM
Bulbasaur. I am also totally old school.
.midnight @ Aug 5th 2008 12:03PM
Mudkip. What else?
Zack @ Aug 5th 2008 12:06PM
Mewtwo. He was always the badass Pokemon to me while I was growing up, especially during the first movie, seeing as how you never saw him until then. Good stuff!
Josh @ Aug 5th 2008 12:14PM
Shuckle.

Why do we have to be above 18 year-old?i mean people above 18 play pokemon????seriously WTF.
HexiJosh @ Aug 5th 2008 12:42PM
I've had a long running obsession with Jigglypuff. He's just so cute and pudgy and when he gets angry and pulls out that marker. Boy-howdy! That there is a hoot.
