Blast Works officially $20 now
The price has been dropping at retailers for a couple of weeks now (as low as $10, temporarily), and now Majesco has made this great deal official: the publisher sent out a press release announcing that the new MSRP for Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy is $19.99.It's a sad situation that the sales warrant a price drop, but we're of the opinion that pretty much every game should cost $20 or less. We can just tell you with even more conviction before that if you like shmups even a little, or if you just like building stuff, you should purchase this game and be amazed by the Blast Works Depot.

This is a fun little game, man. There's been times when I've lost 1 or 2 hours to this game just modifying a single ship or enemy. It can be really addictive, if you're into that sort of thing.
Though, I'm finding it really hard trying to convince anybody to play co-op with me :(

Wow...that's the magic price point for me $20. Now I'm off to take advantage of the Toys R Us deal with this. I hope it works.

Now is the time to get this if you haven't yet. The first really great user created levels are starting to show up on BlastworksDepot.com/games/BlastWorks/type/level . The game with a community that keeps on giving and growing. Buy it.

I'm adding this to my list of games to get.
Currently, here it is (in order I'll try to get them):
Zack & Wiki
Wario Land: Shake It! (when it comes out, skip before)
Boom Blox
Wii Sports Resort (see above)
Wii Music (see above)
Blast Works
Anything I should add? I'm ordering Zack & Wiki online in another tab right now, so...

I wouldn't pay $20 for Blast Works. Boring!

Let's hope that was sarcasm.

Screw you Wii Fanboy.. screw you. Everytime you have the word "Blast" in a headline I think, "Oh my god! Blast Corps on the Wii?!?!?!" and then I read further into the headline and my hopes, dreams and joy is destroyed in an instant. I hope you guys realize how many kittens have been forsaken/killed because of this.
*leaves his desk to weap over his faulty Blast Corps cartridge, played to death. A proud strong game, struck down in it's prime. Truely it was too good for this world*

You ain't the only person who cries when they see a single word in the title on Wii Fanboy that resembles another single word of a game that could be on the Wii.
.................. though I'm not sure if I feel pity for you since the title said "Blast Works" and not something pun-misunderstanding as "Let's have a BLAST"... so, it's not as misleading.

I saw Blast Corps out of Blast Works. I'm sure you know this being on the internet and all, that people don't read the full words. Some catch the first and last letter or glance at a few letters of the second word in a title once the initial word has registered. There is only a two letter difference, and considering how many rss feeds I have linked on my home page I usually only give a cursory glance at each. What I glanced and saw was, "Blast Corps official...." and stopped there, then upon further inspection while clicking the link I realized sadly that was not the case. Having fond memories of the game I generally think Blast Corps whenever I hear a title with the word Blast in it. I’d say that’s a pretty reasonable mistake if not quite common in similar situations.

I'd like to add that I'm well aware of Rare being aquired by Microsoft some time ago and that it is highly unlikely Blast Corps or Snake Rattle 'n' Roll will ever grace a Nintendo console again. Gonna keep my fingers crossed for it on the 360 though, glad I have both.
