New Mario Kart tournament tasks you with avoiding the bananas [update]

This latest tournament (check out previous tournaments here) for Mario Kart Wii focuses on Diddy and Donkey Kong. And, as you might have guess from the images above, will take place on the track DK64 Jungle Park. There, you must avoid the bananas that both Donkey and Diddy Kong drop from atop their motorcycles. Sadly, there isn't any other info, so we assume you can use any control method you'd like for this one.

The tournament starts today and ends on the 10th. Good luck!

I'm still bummed out that I missed the last tourny. I actually only ever use the wii wheel, so it would've been my chance to shine. Oh well, at least I won't miss this one. Thanks for the heads up!

... Anyone ever notice that Funky Kong seems to be channeling Lil Jon? At about 1:13-1:14 particularly. Weird.

I tried this one earlier, it does my head in! Rosalina on Twinkle Star isn't working very well. :( Neither is Offroader... or Toadette in Rally Romper... the best I can get is 3:26.

first - funky kong...where is he. he is in donkey kongs family. and second - THIS IS HARD! They get speed boosts when they're behind you(and I mean super mushrooms or something, NOT DRAFTING(but they do that too)!)

Huh, from the headline i assumed that it was a "hit a banana, fail automatically" sort of deal, not that you just had to beat two Kongs with an unlimited supply of bananas. As it is, open up a good lead against them, and they can't do anything, and sticking in last place a bit before you get a cool item could fix that neatly
