Wario gets his shake on in these latest trailers
It's no secret that we're madly in love with Wario Land: Shake It! and its amazing gameplay. When one of us got to check the game out back at E3, we found it to be the title of our dreams. Seriously, there wasn't a single bad thing we could say about the game. As of right now, we're counting down the days until its August 25th release.
After you've watched the new trailer above, head past the break for some more.

I'm totally, totally pumped for this game. It's almost like Super Paper Mario without some of the too-cutesy elements.
Will buy.

August 25th? Looks like you mixed up the dates of Wario Land and Mario Super Sluggers according to that linked article. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Shake It! is actually coming out on the 29th of September.

Yeah, needs fixed. Otherwise it's release would be much more awesome, as it would coincide with my birthday, not one month later, as is the case

"Seriously, there wasn't a single bad thing we could say about the game."
... How about the fact that it's not in widescreen. Instead we get to stare at those awful brown sidebars while we play the game in a nice little square box. That's pitiful.

That has actually been remedied, from what I heard in a recent article. it is actually widescreen now.

Hell yeah, you took the words right out of my mouth... the transition to non-widescreen is going to be an odd adventure... what a mistake imo, like frig I've been waiting for a great game and now they've dropped the ball on something so basic.
TheOverlord#2 can has Animals Crossing? @ Jul 31st 2008 10:29PM
Yea, but the truth is, that is the only bad thing you could say about this game. Until Sept. 29th there is only one bad thing you can say about this game.

I can say a bad thing as well: it's coming out September 29th instead of August 25th. :(

The music has a nice semi relevent sound to it plus the animation is nice and smooth.
Its the Sonic CD of Wario.
Just think about it.
Not to mention the slope run in the second video.
Very sonic ish xD
Now it just needs time traveling.
I would like to see an optional Wario Ware suit though.
However the fully animated playable sprite would mean that it isn't an option.
The more I see it the more I might consider buying it.
Wario games that arent portable wario ware tend to be rather slow and slow just isnt for me, but its really nice to see someone stretch the limits of 2D games once again.
Off topic, but this makes me kinda wanna see Sega's Astal make a comeback somehow too.
