Show and Tell: Pokemon, piece by piece
The LEGO master Lwelyk is at it again, but this time, his work is back in Pokémon form. He's recreated an army of critters, people, and more from Nintendo's mega-franchise, You've got the expected Pikachu, of course -- what collection of Pokémon anything would be complete without Pikachu? -- but there's a lot more, too. You can get a glimpse of some of the creations in the gallery below, or check out the full site for even more Pokémon. It's not the first time Lwelyk has tackled awesome video game mosaics. Which do you prefer: the Pokemans, or his Link's Awakening mosaics?

I prefer his pokemon pieces, not only because I'm a pokemon fangirl, but also because they look clearer for some reason.
Now I'm off to hide before the Zelda fanboys and girls find me. tee-hee!

Thanks. I've changed my picture taking method. So they look better now.

Very well done. I recognize those poses as well. Like Pikachu on Balloons from Pokemon Yellow.

Imakuni?'s neurotic little theme still gets stuck in my head sometimes. For only including Base, Jungle, and Fossil, that was a pretty amazing game.

That was an awesome game. I would buy another one if they made it today. They had a Japan-only sequel that added the Rocket set.

Ah, Imakuni... damn, I wish I still had that guide; one of my first, lost along with the first pages (and cover) of the Versus Guide for RBY.
Now that he's mentioned (and that I haven't actually heard that song in a while), the Theme of MERCHANT from Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance has a similar feel. I'll spare you from any further mumbling ruminescence on the matter of such songs' feel(s).

Just seeing those made me really want to start a new account on Gold (Silver's never getting reset, due to the 300+ hours playtime, complete pokedex, and multiple Shining Pokemon.)
GS remake NOW, Nintendo.
