The King of Super Mario Galaxy Shirts
Japan's premier Nintendo-related t-shirt company, The King of Games, has turned their attention to a recent game, a change from their usual (justified) Famicom-era subject matter. The results, as always, are expensive. And worth it.
The company has started selling two new handmade shirts based on Super Mario Galaxy: the "Peach Castle" shirt seen above and a second, excellent shirt featuring Bowser Jr.'s airship, which we're pretty sure is the best thing ever to feature Bowser Jr. The shirts sell for ?5,800 ($54) in adult sizes, and ?3,990 ($37) in totally cute "The King of Games Jr." kids' sizes.

I can see why they're so spendy, they put a lot of time and care into everything.

Dude, that is a brilliant design. I would gladly pay that amount for this. Where do I sign up?? Haha~

:( Clothes are about that price anyway in the UK.
Anyway, the shirt looks wicked-awesome. :D

Good lord, that's more than you'd pay for a shirt at...hell...every store in existance. I think the most I've ever payed for a T-shirt was 30 bucks, and it was some fancy cotton insanity from one of the luxury designers (some "rare" cotton. All I knew is that it felt like quilted sex on mah boday) and I felt like an idiot for about a week after doing that.
I guess this is kinda like how an Alpaca sweater is 100 bucks in the states, but you can get one in south america for 5. Damn are they comfy, but when you can have cashmere for the same price.....
Sorry...I enjoy clothes a bit much for the average gamer.
Cool shirts, ridiculous price.

Thanks for highlighting this - have ordered one today. £30 is not uncommon for a t-shirt in the UK anyway (as James says) - especially not one this cool.

It also works as a Paper Mario shirt

What? Are you suggesting that a Mario game borrowed a plot device from a previous Mario game? No Way...
